Moving Services
To request moving services, please complete a University of Pittsburgh Logistics 1Click form. This form serves a one-stop shop for moving, disposing and swapping office equipment or furniture, lab equipment or biohazardous materials, while following all University and federal guidelines and policies.

E-Waste Recycling
Broken, obsolete, or unwanted University owned electronic devices must be recycled and cannot be sent to the landfill. Please see the University of Pittsburgh Sustainability department's Recycle, Compost, & Zero Waste page for up-to-date guides on how to recycle various materials on campus.

Hard Drive Destruction
Computer Security and data destruction are top priorities for the Surplus Property department when a department computer is sent to us. We provide safe, secure destruction of the computer’s hard drive by using a Hard Disk Crusher. We use an industrial shredder that physically destroys the entire hard drive. Once destroyed, the unit is then recycled for its metal content
